About Us
The Hobe Sound Nature Center is a private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) dedicated to inspiring and educating people of all ages through the lens of South Florida's unique, critical habitats and wildlife. We work in cooperation with the Nathaniel P. Reed Hobe Sound Wildlife Refuge to foster deep and meaningful connections between people and nature, through universally accessible indoor and outdoor programming.
How to Help
Admission to the Hobe Sound Nature Center is free, including access to injured and non-releasable resident wildlife, hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) activities, exploration stations, and summer camps. As such, we rely on donations to ensure the care and well-being of our resident animals and to remain at the forefront of environmental education. None of this would be possible without the dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of our donors!
