Wildlife Education and Outreach Internship
We will start accepting applications for our January - June internship on August 1st. The deadline for applications is November 15th. This is a paid Internship for undergraduate students, masters candidates, PhD. candidates, or recent graduates, with an interest in wildlife conservation and environmental education.
Hours
20 variable hours per week, Saturdays, Sundays, and some evenings
Responsibilities
We are looking for a passionate educator and naturalist to join our small team of educators, biologists, and resource managers. Interns will be involved in all organizational and operational activities, including but not limited to curriculum development, teaching, outreach, community building, guided hikes, turtle walks, animal care and husbandry, data collection, event planning, social media, and occasional administrative work.
The Hobe Sound Nature Center, Inc., is a private, non-profit organization, located at the Nathaniel P. Reed Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge in southern Martin County.
